Description

Nos 1 and 3 on Church Street are mid-19th century houses and shops. They are two-storeys tall, built from gault brick, and feature a low-pitched slate roof with a dentil eaves cornice and end stacks. The central cartway has a segmental arch and a pair of plank doors. To the right, there is a shop door and window that share a plain entablature and cornice with plain pilasters. On either side, large hung sash windows with glazing bars are set within segmental arches. There is also one original house door located to the left.
