Description

Nos 2 and 4 Church Street is a mid-19th century terrace and shop. It is two storeys high and constructed from gault brick, with red brick side walls. The building has a low pitch slate roof and features three stacks with paired shafts and a common entablature. On the first floor, there is a range of three hung sash windows with glazing bars set in segmental arches. To the right and left of the two house doors, there are two similar windows also in segmental arches. The shop front includes a window and door with panelled pilasters, a shared plain entablature, and a projecting cornice with paired modillions.
