Braunston House is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of High Street in Somersham. The building is constructed of colour-washed brick and features a low-pitched hipped roof covered with modern tiles. It has two storeys and is adorned with two hung sash windows that have slender glazing bars, which flank a smaller, similar window. The central doorway is framed by a doorcase with pilasters, a plain entablature, and a dentilled cornice, topped by a semi-circular headed fanlight. The walls on both sides of the house are shaped.
