Description
This milestone, located approximately 75 yards north of Mayfield, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It has a square section and features a pyramidal top. The west face is inscribed with "Somersham Parish," the south face reads "Wisbech 24 miles," and the north face states "St Ives 7 miles."
