Description

The milestone adjoining number 19 on Chatteris Road in Somersham dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It has a square section and features a pyramidal top. The north face is inscribed with "Somersham Parish," the east face reads "St Ives 6 miles," and the west face states "Wisbech 25 miles."
