Description

This milestone, dating from the 18th century, is made of Ketton stone and is designed in the shape of an obelisk on a pedestal. It features directional hands in low relief and is inscribed on each face with the distances to London, Chatteris, Ely, Wisbech, Somersham, March, and St Ives.
