Description

This is a late 19th-century limestone ashlar milestone set into the churchyard wall. It is inscribed on its north side with distances to various locations, including London, Cambridge, Wisbech, Grantham, Birmingham, Lynn, Norwich, Yarmouth, Boston, Sleaford, Newark, Lincoln, Peterborough, and Stamford. The mileages to the last two locations are illegible. The west side is inscribed with distances to Long Sutton and Sutton Bridge, while the east side provides distances to Spalding, Crowland, and Bourn.
