Description

This is a terrace of three houses located on the west side of Albert Street, Holbeach. The houses were built in the early 19th century, with later 20th-century alterations. They are constructed of red brick, with some painted stucco. The roofs are slated and hipped, with moulded wooden eaves and two ridge stacks. The terrace is two and a half storeys high and has a seven-bay front.

The doorway to number 2 has a semi-circular head, a moulded stucco surround, a fanlight with radiating spokes, and a panelled and glazed door. It is flanked by single tripartite sash windows with glazing bars. The doorway to number 4 is similar, but with a plain fanlight. A single tripartite sash window is to the left, beyond which is a 20th-century shop front and a doorway with a pilastered doorcase, entablature, cornice, overlight, and panelled and glazed double doors. There are six glazing bar sashes above, with six smaller glazing bar sashes above them, except for the central window which is a 20th-century glazing bar casement. All the windows have painted wedge stucco lintels.
