Description

This stone milestone, dating from the 18th century, is located on the southern verge approximately 250 metres west of Moat Farm corner. It has a triangular shape with the top cut back and is inscribed with "To London 51." The east and west faces feature additional inscriptions indicating distances: "Castle Hedingham 2," "Gestingthorpe," and "Sudbury 5," along with "Gestingthorpe."
