Description
Crouch House is a house with a core dating from the 17th century or earlier, featuring extensions from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed from timber framing and plaster, with a central 19th-century gabled wing made of red brick. The house has red brick pilasters on both sides and red tiled roofs. A red brick chimney stack is located on the 19th-century wing, while an early 17th-century red brick chimney with a concertina shaft is found at the rear left. The building has two storeys and a window arrangement of two small paned vertical sliding sashes, one large pane, and two more small panes. To the left of the central wing is a 20th-century red tiled porch that features a plank and muntin door. The gable has batten decoration and barge boards with brackets. Additionally, there is a single-storey, gabled red tiled extension to the left front of the wing.
