Description

ALWALTON CHURCH STREET TL 1295 (East Side) 13/4 No. 2 (Hunters Rest) GV II House. Late C18 or early C19, with late C19 and C20 alterations. Limestone blocks with freestone dressings. Collyweston stone slated roof with brick end stacks and C19 pantiled roof. Two storeys, single storey extension to left hand. Three symmetrical bays. C20 door with rectangular fanlight, two ground floor casement windows with pointed heads to glazing bars and keystones to flat arches, two smaller first floor windows with central blind window. The house is situated beside the boundary of the former village green.
