Description

This is a 19th-century building on the south side of Market Square, similar in appearance to number 18. It is three storeys high with cellars, and has four windows. The roof is tiled, and the building is constructed of gault brick with a wooden eaves cornice. The windows are recessed and have flat, square-headed stone arches with key blocks, containing glazing bars. A modern doorway is located on the return at the east end, providing access to a carriageway. The carriageway features a semi-elliptical arched head made of stone. Numbers 16 to 46 (even) are grouped together.
