Description

This is a three-story building dating from the 19th century, situated on the south side of Market Square. It has five windows and a tiled roof. The building is constructed of gault brick, with a wooden eaves cornice. The windows are recessed and have flat, square-headed stone arches with key blocks, featuring glazing bars. The recessed, architraved doorway has moulded brackets supporting a hood with a fluted band, a patterned fanlight, and a panelled door. A carriageway is located at the west end of the building. Number 18 is part of a group of buildings forming numbers 16 to 46 (even).
