Description
These are an early 18th century semi-detached pair of cottages located on the west side of St Mary's Street in Eynesbury. They are two storeys high with gabled dormers above. The cottages have three windows to the front of number 20 and two windows to the front of number 22. The roofs are tiled and feature a mid-19th century gault ridge stack. The buildings are timber framed with a red brick plinth and plaster facing. They have flush framed sash windows with exposed boxing, architraves and original glazing bars. The architraved doorways have simplified cornices and panelled doors. A modern extension is situated at the rear. Numbers 20 to 26 (even) form a cohesive grouping.
