Description

These are a pair of late 17th or early 18th century cottages located on the north side of St Leonard's Street. They are built of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof and feature six gabled dormers. Number 22 has two 19th-century windows without glazing bars, each with a curved stone lintel and a keystone. It also has a four-panel door with a rectangular fanlight, framed by a similar architrave. Numbers 23 and 24 have a modern door, along with three windows and a chamfered lintel. A modern door is located to the left of these cottages, also with a chamfered wood lintel. Numbers 22 to 25 (consec), 25A, and number 27 form a group.
