Description
The Reindeer Inn, located at No 20 St Leonard's Street, dates back to 1671. The building features an early 19th century front elevation and stands three storeys tall, constructed from coursed rubble. It has a stone slate roof with projecting eaves. The facade includes three windows, which are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, except for two ground floor windows that lack glazing bars. There is a round-arched doorway with a four-panel door, two of which have glass. The building has a slight plinth and a brick chimney. A plaque indicates that this site was formerly the location of St George's Gate. The Reindeer Inn is part of a group with Nos 15 to 20 St Leonard's Street.
