Description

This is a late 17th-century farmhouse that has been altered over time. It is two storeys high and has gabled dormers. The front facade is symmetrical, with four windows on the ground and first floors and a central gable with one window. It has a tiled roof. The building is timber-framed with a pebble-dash finish and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The dormer windows have Yorkshire sashes and cornices. The ground and first-floor windows are three-light designs with mullions and transoms, and contain modern glazing; some original wrought iron window furniture remains on the first-floor windows. The central doorway has a modern wooden surround and a bracketed hood shaped like a shell, above a panelled door. The building forms a group with Nos. 20 to 26 (even).
