Description
Nos 31 and 33 on St Mary's Street in Eynesbury are 18th-century buildings that have been altered. They feature a timber-framed structure with a street-facing facade that was refaced in brick in the early 19th century. At the rear of No 31, there is a half-timbered range with brick nogging. The buildings are two storeys high and have four windows. The roof is covered with old tiles, and the brickwork is painted. A brick dentil cornice runs along the top, and there are gauged segmental brick arches above recessed sash windows that have glazing bars. The extension at the south end of No 33 includes Yorkshire casement windows. Both buildings have segmental-arched, recessed doorways, with No 31 featuring a modern shop doorway and window. Mid-19th century moulded brick chimney stacks are also present. Nos 23 to 33 (odd) and No 41 are part of a group.
