Description

Eynesbury War Memorial is a limestone structure erected as a tribute to those lost in conflict. It comprises a Latin cross with a pierced central square featuring rose motifs. The cross and its arms are octagonal, rising from a slightly tapered octagonal shaft. A turreted collar, decorated with carved Tudor flowers around its base, joins the shaft to the plinth. The memorial stands on a square plinth with carved turreted pillars at each corner and a flower motif on each face. The plinth is set upon a two-stepped octagonal base.
