Description
Church House is an early 13th-century building with a half H plan. It is constructed of red brick, which has been partly refaced, and features a roughcast return to the street. The building stands two storeys high with attics in the wings and has five windows, including a four-window return to the street with a central blind window. The windows are segmental-arched and square-headed, with flush frames, exposed boxing, and glazing bars. The street entrance has been blocked, while the garden entrance is adorned with a bracketed hood. Church House is part of a group that includes Berkley House, Berkley Lodge, and Nos 3 and 7.
