Description

FREE CHURCH PASSAGE 1. 1588 TL 3171 1/59 8.2.71 No.1 II GV 2. Early C18. 2 storeys with attics, plastered brick, band between storeys, tile roof. 5 windows, wood casements with glazing bars, 2 hipped dormers with moulded cornices. Doorway with board hood on shaped brackets. Modern window on left, modern shop front on right. Rectangular central chimney stack. At south end, timber-framed 2 storey extension, plaster faced and with tiled mansard roof. RCHM.

No.1, the Free Church Hall and Nos. 4 to 6 (consec) form a group with the Free Church, Market Hill and No.7 The Quay.
