Description

Milestone Cottage is a 18th century L-plan house located in Stonely, featuring two storeys and an attic. The building has a symmetrical main facade constructed from local red brick, topped with a plain tile roof that includes end stacks and a dentil brick eaves cornice. It has two flat-roofed dormer windows with horizontal sliding sash designs. On the first floor, there are three horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door beneath a flat canopy, flanked by two altered three-light casement windows. A stone plaque on the building is dated "W.E. 1787".
