Description

This letter box, located approximately 30 metres west of number 88 on the Green, dates from the early 20th century. It is made of cast iron and has a cylindrical shape topped with a domed cap, which is painted red. The plinth is painted black. On either side of the letter opening, there is raised lettering that reads 'POST' and 'OFFICE', along with the initials ER VII and a crown on the door. This letter box is included for its group value.
