Description

The letter box located at Desswood Place in Aberdeen was built in 1936. It is a columnar pillar box made of cast iron, featuring a swept frieze leading to a shallow-domed cap that has a dentilled rim. The base of the letter box is painted black, and the shaft displays the initials "EVIIIR" in raised gothic lettering, with a crown above and the words "Post Office" below.
