Description
The Three Horse Shoes is a public house located on Main Street in Yaxley. It dates from the early 18th century and has undergone alterations and additions in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of local brick, which is partly rendered and painted, and features a thatched roof. It has one storey and an attic, with a lower gable end addition to the north-east. The gable end stacks are topped with tumbled parapet gables and rusticated brick quoins, and there is a plinth at the base. The entrance includes glazed-panelled doors on both the left and right sides. To the left, there are two horizontal sliding sash windows, while to the right, there are three cross-framed fixed light windows. The building also features three eyebrow dormer windows, two of which have horizontal sliding sashes. The Three Horse Shoes is included for its group value.
