Description

Brook End is a cottage that possibly dates back to the late 17th century. It features a plastered timber frame and a plinth, topped with a thatched roof. To the left, there is a gable lean-to with a pantile roof. The cottage has a side stack and a rebuilt ridge stack. It is one storey with an attic and has a three-unit plan. There is one dormer window and four ground floor windows, which are casements with small panes. Inside, the cottage includes an inglenook hearth made of 17th century red brick and a boxed staircase.
