Description

The Hall is a hall, dating from approximately 1575, with substantial alterations, partial demolition, and 19th-century additions. The structure is built of local red brick with a low-pitched slate roof. The facade is asymmetric and features two projecting two-storey bays with pilasters. One bay, on the right-hand side, incorporates the original entrance porch. The building has a moulded brick plinth and a band at the first floor level. Originally, all the windows were mullioned and transomed; four ground-floor windows have pediments. The main entrance is distinguished by a square-headed arch, also pedimented, with a recessed rectangular panel above. The interior retains one original partition and 17th-century panelling with reset pilasters.
