Description

Broomstick Cottage is a cottage that possibly dates back to the 17th century. It has a timber frame and is plastered, featuring a thatched roof with a red brick ridge stack. The cottage is one storey with an attic and originally had a two-unit plan, which was extended by one bay in the 19th century with inserted floors. It has three plain tiled, gabled, casement dormer windows and three three-light windows on the ground floor, along with a four flush-panelled door.
