Description

Sutton's Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, with possible earlier elements and 19th-century alterations. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure, with a 19th-century red brick gable wall facing the street. The cottage has a red brick ridge stack and a thatched roof that is half hipped to the southwest. It is one storey with an attic and has a three-unit plan. The northwest elevation includes one ground floor casement window and two fixed-light windows, along with a boarded door. There is one dormer window on the northwest elevation and three dormer windows on the southeast elevation.
