Description

Apple Trees is a cottage that dates from the mid to late 16th century, with a gable extension added in the 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plaster, topped with a thatched roof. The red brick ridge stack has been rebuilt, and the building features flint with brick dressings. It is one storey and has an attic, originally designed with a three-unit plan, with an addition on the left side. The cottage has two casement dormer windows, three ground floor casement windows, and a boarded door. Inside, there is an inglenook hearth, along with exposed wall frames and floor frames.
