Description

Oak Gates is a house dating to the late 17th or early 18th century. It is timber-framed and has been rendered with plaster. The roof is thatched, and there is an end stack. The house is two storeys high with attics. A single-storey gable extension is located on the right-hand side. The facade is symmetrical, featuring three first-floor casement windows with glazing bars, two larger casement windows on the ground floor, and a boarded central door. According to the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments (Cambs) notes from 1952, the building has these characteristics.
