Description

Dobitoes is a cottage dating from the late 16th century, with a 17th-century wing to the southeast. It features a timber frame with plaster and has thatched roofs that are hipped at an angle. There is a large red brick gable stack on the right side and an end stack for the kitchen wing. The building is one storey with an attic, including one dormer window and two ground floor casement windows, along with a boarded door. Inside, the cottage has exposed wall and floor frames made of substantial timbers, with carved jowls on the posts in the hall. The wing contains cross beams in the floor and two large inglenook hearths.
