Description

This is an 18th-century cottage located on the north side of Church Street in Northborough. The exterior is constructed of roughly shaped stone rubble, with flat quoins and window surrounds. It has a steeply pitched roof covered in Belgian tiles, with gabled ends; one end is rendered and has a coping. The cottage is one storey high with an attic. It originally had two windows, and retains 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars, set within lintels with keyblocks. Two modern gabled dormers have been added to the roof. Brick chimney stacks are located at each end of the building.
