Description

This is an 18th-century cottage located on the south side of Rookery Road in Stretton. It is constructed of roughly-coursed rubble stone with quoins, and has a plain tile roof with a brick ridge and stacks at the right end. A concreted plinth runs along the base. The windows are casements, arranged in two storeys: on the upper floor, windows are of 2-, 3- and 2-lights; on the ground floor, a 2-light window over a part-glazed door, a 2-light window, and a 3-light window. All windows have wooden lintels. Inside, original wooden beams remain.
