Description

The Blake Tomb, located in the churchyard of St. Nicholas, is a table tomb dating from around 1800. It is made of stone and features a rectangular shape resting on a plinth. The corners are adorned with double balusters, and the central sections of the ends curve forward and are fluted. The tomb includes carved decoration and an inscription set within an oval. It commemorates Susanah Blake, who died in 1798, and her husband Charles, who died in 1810. The tomb is situated near the south porch of the church.
