Description
The barns and outbuildings at Number 2 Rectory Farm Cottage date from the 18th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble stone with quoins and feature a pantile roof. The complex includes two barns arranged in an L shape, with the second barn projecting to the rear right of the first. The first barn has a stable door facing the road, a window, and two rows of triangular ventilation loops, with three similar loops in the left gable. It has a four-bay single purlin tie beam roof with collars, along with doors and an open extension at the rear. The second barn has a three-bay single purlin tie beam roof with collars. There are also two one-storey outbuildings extending to the right of the first barn and to the rear of the second.
