Description

The dovecot located to the south of No. 24 on Church Street in Northborough dates back to the 18th century. It is constructed from coursed stone with flush quoins and features a Collyweston stone roof, which has a coped gable end and small shaped kneelers. The dovecot has a rectangular plan. There is a floor inside, and a door has been inserted for access to the first floor. While the nesting holes on the ground floor have been blocked and the ledges destroyed, those on the first floor remain intact. The structure does not have a lantern.
