Description

Vine House is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier, which has been recently restored. It is constructed of coursed stone and features a modern concrete tile roof with gabled ends. Although the coping has been removed, the moulded kneelers remain. The building has one storey and an attic, with a three-window range. All the windows are modern casements with glazing bars, and there is a modern glazed door. The house also has three modern hipped dormers. An ashlar chimney stack is located off centre, and the interior includes a fireplace with a corbelled stone head. The stone wing at the rear features stopped chamfered ceiling beams and a fireplace bressumer.
