Description
26 Church Street is a late 17th century to early 18th century cottage built of coursed stone. It features a steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof with coped gable ends. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with two windows. It has modern casements and a central modern door, along with chamfered timber lintels. There are two old hipped dormers and a rebuilt brick chimney stack at each end. At the south end, there is a 19th century stone and pantile outbuilding that has been converted into an extension. Inside, there is a stopped chamfer ceiling beam.
