Description

Queen Elizabeth's Gate is a late 18th-century gateway, constructed in the form of a plain ashlar wall. It features a moulded round arch with a moulded impost and a dilapidated entablature. The gateway is adorned with decorative wrought iron gates and a well-crafted wrought iron overthrow. The date 1797 and initials are scratched into the masonry.
