Description

This cattle shed and hayloft, located north-north-east of Dairy Farmhouse, dates from around 1840. It is a long stone building topped with a hipped thatched roof. The structure features three bays on the ends and two in the center, which is slightly advanced and has a half hipped gable with a quatrefoil opening for the loft. The ground floor includes blind pointed arch windows and a central doorway with a four-centred arch. On the north side, there is an open ground floor with nine bays supported by square stone piers. The first floor above has blind rectangular panels, and there is a loft door at the east end.
