Description

The stables, gun room, and wash house building, located immediately north of The Cottage, dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. This structure consists of two small matching brick buildings that flank the yard at the rear (north) of The Cottage. They feature a thatched hipped roof, although the gun room and wash house have been fitted with an asbestos roof replacement. The buildings are single-storey, with the stables including a loft. Both buildings have segmental headed doorways.
