Description

This is an 18th-century house located on the west side of Main Street, Ailsworth. The building is constructed of ashlar and has a Collyweston stone roof with coped gable ends. It is two storeys high with an attic, and originally had a three-window front. The windows are timber mullion and transom windows with two lights each, and they have stone lintels with keyblocks. A modern door is located centrally, above it a rectangular fanlight. There are two hipped dormers in the roof, and internal chimney stacks. A one-storey extension has been added to the left (south) side of the building, featuring an asbestos roof.
