Description

Number 19 on Main Street is a 17th-century cottage positioned at right angles to the road. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a thatched roof with stone coping at the gable ends. The building is one storey high with attics, and it has two dormers at the eaves. There are two window openings, fitted with modern casements that include glazing bars, all set beneath wooden lintels. The cottage has two doors: one is plain with a wooden lintel, while the other is sheltered by a trellis porch. The stone quoins add to its character, and there is a central modern brick chimney stack.
