Description

South View is an 18th-century cottage located at No. 30 Helpston Road in Ailsworth. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with stone quoins and is positioned at right angles to the road. It features a thatched roof with gabled ends and is one storey high with attics. There are two dormers at the eaves, along with two windows and two doors that sit beneath a continuous wooden lintel. The windows are 19th-century casements. At the rear, there is a pantiled lean-to extension. The cottage has two rendered chimneys located at the gable ends.
