Description
This is a late 19th-century town house located on George Street West, Luton. The building is constructed of Luton grey bricks with a Welsh slate roof. Stuccoed quoins highlight the corners of the building. It is three storeys high, with a basement, and has two-storey bands. The facade facing George Street West features an unusual sash window on the second floor, distinguished by its geometric arched glazing bars. The first and ground floor windows are plain sashes with stuccoed lintels. Cast iron railings are present in front of the basement wall on the left-hand side. The side elevation includes a single window on the second floor with an arched stuccoed head. The first and ground floor windows on the side elevation are similar to those on the main facade, although some have darker brick relieving arches above the window heads.
