Description
Nos 7 and 9 George Street West is a late 19th-century town house that stands two storeys high with a basement. The facade is finished in stucco and topped with a slate roof. It features a heavy bracketed and moulded eaves cornice. The four-bay facade is divided by plain pilasters, each adorned with a fleur-de-lys motif on the capitals. The sash windows are framed by rounded architrave surrounds. The doorway, located in the second bay from the left, has double three-panelled doors beneath a semi-circular fanlight, with reveals, plain pilasters, and a cornice above. Access to the door is via four steps leading up from the basement wall.
