Description
This is a mid-19th century terrace of three buildings, numbered 13, 15, and 17, on George Street West in Luton. The buildings are constructed of Luton grey bricks with a stuccoed ground floor, and have a Welsh slate roof. They are three storeys high, with a basement level. Yellow brick corner quoins divide numbers 15 and 17. The windows are sash windows. The second floor has two sashes to each floor, with simple architrave surrounds. The first floor sashes have cornices supported on consoles. A stuccoed band runs between the first and ground floors. The ground floor is rusticated stucco, with three arched sashes, each with marginal glazing bars. Similar arched doorways are present at numbers 13 and 15. Number 17 has a doorway within the reveals, topped with a bracketed cornice. The entrances are accessed by three steps, with plain side walls defining the wells in front of the facades, and cast iron railings along the street.
