Description
This is a house built in the early to mid-19th century, with alterations in the later 19th century. It is constructed of brick with a stucco finish to the ground floor of the front facade and render above, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The house has a central entrance and is two storeys high, with three bays. It features quoins. The front door is a six-panelled door beneath a divided overlight, set within an elaborate doorcase featuring pilasters with nodding keystones and a dentilled cornice. The ground-floor windows are four-pane sashes with aprons and simple architraves. The first floor has sash windows with four panes, each with a moulded continuous sill in eared architraves. These architraves incorporate pyramidal motifs at both the sill and glazing-bar levels, as well as triple keystones. The gable ends are raised, and there is a stack on the left-hand end. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of the area.
