Description

GUILDFORD STREET 1. 5123 No 47 TL 0921 2/13 II

  1. Circa 1860s. Luton grey bricks with stucco dressings, Welsh slate roof. Three storeys. Three bays to Guildford Street with symmetrical elevation and stuccoed quoins; one further bay to right hand; curved corner; two bays to Barber's Lane. Continuous first floor stucco band. Sash windows with glazing bars. All windows have stuccoed quoins and stuccoed gauged heads except second bay from left on Guildford Street, which on first and second floor has arched heads and plain stucco surrounds, and extreme right hand bay which also has plain surrounds. Guildford Street front door in second bay from left has plain surround.
